Setting Accents
Another use for the "Blood Relatives" flag that I have found handy is with the Accent feature. Within TMG there is the Accent feature. The Accent feature allows you to display the names of certain individuals on display screens using different colors for background and text. The accent is turned on by a match in the value of a field or flag you have selected. With this feature you see can, at a glance, who is included in the three blood relative categories (A, B, or C).
To work with Accents, from the File menu select "Accent" and then from the "Accent Definition" follow the steps to create an "accent"(color combination) for each of the three values of the "Blood Relatives" flag.

Focus Groups in TMG are really only used for two purposes: controlling which individuals are included in an export or which individuals to include in TMG's web search feature. On the other hand, Flags and Filters have many uses that go well beyond what is discussed in this article.
