She married Francis Gaume, son of Jean Baptiste Francois Xavier Jeanin-Gaume and Marie Elise Faiver, on July 12, 1871 in Napoleon, Holmes County, Ohio; From Declaration For Widow's Pension dated Oct. 17, 1917 "That she was married to said soldier (or sailor) Francis Gaume July 12, 1871 under the name Justine Blanchard at Napoleon, Ohio by Father Amo; that she had not been previously married" Note: Given her birth year as 1856 this would mean that Justine was 14 years old at time of marriage.

Her married name was Justine Gaume.      Lauren Gaume was born on January 24, 1873 in Ohio.¹ He was the son of Francis Gaume and Augustina Blanchard.

     Lewis Gaume was born on April 1, 1876 in Ohio.¹ He was the son of Francis Gaume and Augustina Blanchard. He died on June 16, 1916 in Topeka, Shawnee County, Kansas, at age 40.
     Lewis Gaume was also known as James L. Gaume. According to Francis Gaume's Civil War Pension request (1915), Lewis' birthdate is April 1st, 1876; however the St. Louis Parish records (Louisville, Ohio) show that his sister, Alice, was baptised in 1876. The pension request shows that Alice's birthdate is Jan 24, 1877. Pratically all of the dates on the pension request have been proven to be wrong. 1880 census suggests that he was born 1878. He appeared on the census of 1880 in the household of Francis Gaume and Jessie M. Gaume in Shannon, Pottawatomie County, Kansas.² He appeared on the census of 1900 in the household of Augustina Blanchard in Topeka.³ He appeared on the census of 1910 in the household of Justine Gaume in Topeka.⁴

     Alice Gaume was born on January 24, 1876 in Ohio.¹ She was the daughter of Francis Gaume and Augustina Blanchard. She was baptized on January 26, 1876 in St. Louis Church, Louisville, Stark County, Ohio. She married Frank E. Wilcox on March 28, 1895.

     Frank George Gaume was born in 1885 in Pottawatomie County, Kansas. He was the son of Francis Gaume and Augustina Blanchard. He was christened on February 12, 1885 in Immaculate Conception Church, St Marys, Pottawatomie County, Kansas.¹ He married Sylvia (?). He died on October 17, 1933 in Topeka, Shawnee County, Kansas.

     Marie Elise Faiver was born on October 1, 1810 in Montecheroux, Franche-Comté, France.¹ She was the daughter of Joseph Faivre and Jeanne Angelique Voisard. She married Jean Baptiste Francois Xavier Jeanin-Gaume, son of Luc Francois Jeanin-Gaume and Marie Therese Pequignot, on August 17, 1834 in Louisville, Stark County, Ohio. She died on October 26, 1891 in Louisville at age 81.² She was buried on October 27, 1891 in St. Louis Church, Louisville, Stark County, Ohio.
     Her married name was Elise Gaume. She and Francis Gaume appeared on the census of 1850 in Nimishillen Twnshp, Stark County, Ohio.³ She and Francis Gaume appeared on the census of 1860 in Nimishillen Twnshp.⁴ She appeared on the census of 1870 in Louisville.⁵ She appeared on the census of 1880 in Louisville.⁶

     Camille Pessemier was born on January 16, 1863 in Renaix, Belgium. He was the son of Charles Louis Pessemier and Justine Vallez. He married Marie DeBacker, daughter of Vital Eugene Louis DeBacker and Hortence DeDonder, on December 8, 1889 in Seattle, Washington. He died on June 7, 1947 in Tacoma, Washington, at age 84.
     Camille Pessemier witnessed the baptism of Camille DeBacker on September 26, 1905 in Immaculate Conception Church, St Marys, Pottawatomie County, Kansas.¹ "Camille was the oldest son of Charles Louis Pessemier and his wife Justine Vallez. They began to think of leaving Belgium after Camille wasto be drafted for the military service. They paid 1000 francs for a replacement for him, as was the custom in Belgium, if the family could afford it. Camille came to this country in 1882 and settled in St Marys,Kansas. After the rest of the family arrived in Kansas, Camille and his brother, Henry Joseph, struck out for the state of Washington. This area was growing rapidly because it was a supply source for prospectors of the Alaskan Gold Rush. Camille established what was to become a prestigious shoe store chain in Seattle and Tacoma. The pioneer opened the store in Seattle in 1888. It carried a wide range of merchandise from working boots and family shoes to fine women's styles. Eventually his brother Henry Joseph, joined him in the business. Camille was an astute businessman, meeting the needs of his customers. .."²

     Walter Henry Pessemier was born on December 13, 1895 in Washington. He was the son of Camille Pessemier and Marie DeBacker. He married Gladys E. Snider on September 3, 1919 in Washington. He died on February 10, 1974 at age 78.

     Vitalia Anne Pessemier was born on May 25, 1894 in Washington. She was the daughter of Camille Pessemier and Marie DeBacker. She married William Hamilton Smith on June 5, 1923 in Washington.
     Her married name was Smith.

     Justine Hortense Pessemier was born on February 25, 1898 in Washington. She was the daughter of Camille Pessemier and Marie DeBacker. She married Frank McMenamin on July 28, 1914 in Washington. She died on July 4, 1965 at age 67.
     Her married name was McMenamin.

     Victor Vital Pessemier was born on October 14, 1899 in Washington. He was the son of Camille Pessemier and Marie DeBacker. He married Elsie Foster in July, 1920 in Washington. He died on December 28, 1962 at age 63.

     Camille Joseph Pessemier was born on August 9, 1902 in Washington. He was the son of Camille Pessemier and Marie DeBacker. He died on January 5, 1974 at age 71.
