Looking back, I realize why the Bannon family was so easy to find and to trace. It was primarily because the family had a presence in the city of Louisville from the 1840's when the Bannon brothers first arrived from Ireland down to the 1960's when my great-grandmother was moved to Houston, Texas to be placed into a nursing home. The family operated a number of factories in the city of Louisville, Kentucky. They owned houses in the city, they attended church in the city, and many are buried in the city...
