She emigrated in 1833 from Le Havre, France.1 Apparently never married. Was living with mother in 1880 at 47 years. Occupation listed as basket maker. Notes from obiturary: Miss Elizabeth Voisard died in the home of her niece, Miss Elizabeth Lallement, at Canton 21 March 1919. Her obit was published 27 March 1919. It says that she was born in Bouron, France on November 23, 1832 and that her parents were Theobold and Barbara Voisard. It describes the journey that they made from France to America in 1832. It says that the farm that they built is now owned by Eugene Rebillot. This is interesting because this means that the Rebillot family acquired both the Gaume and Voisard farms. The Gaume farm was acquired by Paul Rebillot when he married Josephine Gaume, elder sister of Elizabeth Gaume. Funeral services were held at St. John's Catholic Church in Canton and she was buried in St. Louis cemetery in Louisville.
