Charles F. Dobbs was born in 1827 in Georgia. He was the son of Fortunatus N. Dobbs and Margaret A. Wallace.1 He married Rebecca Evans, daughter of William Evans. He died after 1880 in Georgia.2

From 1861 to 1865, Charles F. Dobbs served in 23rd Regiment, Georgia Infantry.3
