Lodowick Dobbs was born in 1802 in Pendleton District, South Carolina.1 He was the son of Lodowick Dobbs and Sarah Adams. He married Deliah Dobbs, daughter of Peter Dobbs and Lavinia, on December 20, 1827 in Franklin County, Georgia.2 He died about 1870 in Georgia.1

He was named an heir in the will of Lodowick Dobbs dated May 13, 1814 in Pendleton District (Anderson Co.), South Carolina.3 He may have some relationship or connection with Sulzer Dobbs of Cherokee County, Georgia.
