Jacques Ferry was born on May 2, 1781 in Fleurey, Vesoul, Haute-Saône, Franche-Comté, France.1 He married Marie Josephe Jeanin-Gaume, daughter of Jean Claude Jeannin-Gaume and Marie Agnès Nedey, on January 29, 1813 in Dambelin, Doubs, Franche-Comté, France.1 He died in January, 1863 in Linn, Osage County, Missouri, at age 81.1 He was buried in Perrey-St. Isidor Cemetery, Linn, Osage County, Missouri.1

He was farmer & sabotier (Made wooden shoes).1 Jacques Ferry was also known as Jack Faiven.
