Constantine Kollros was born on February 17, 1838 in Sasbach am Rhein, Grand Duchy of Baden.1 He was the son of Joseph Kollros and Magdalena Ringwald. He married Maria Eichhorn, daughter of Georg Eichhorn and Catherine, after 1863 in Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky. He died on November 28, 1916 in Louisville at age 78.2

He was a popular orchestra and choir leader in the Ohio river valley area in the later part of the 19th and earlier 20th centuries. He also taught music.
