OriginFrench
Eugenia Cholley was born in 1830 in France. She married Louis Jeanin-Gaume, son of Luc François Jeanin-Gaume and Marie Therese Pequignot, about 1854 in Ohio. She died on October 31, 1885 in Louisville, Stark County, Ohio.

Her married name was Jane Gaume. Somewhere I came up with the name "Jane Marie Rebillot" as the second wife of Louis Gaume. I do not know where I got this name from. I thought that I might have got this from a cousin of my father around 1996., but in a letter that I wrote to my Aunt Geraldine in 1989 I listed Louis Gaume and Jane Marie Rebillot as parents of Adeline Gaum. At that time I thought that Louis and Jane were the parents of my g-grandmother, Della (Adele) Gaume, but later found this to be incorrect. The census record of 1880 only gives the name "Jane" and I found this in 1986 during a visit to the Natl.Archives branch in So. California. That means that sometime between 1986 and 1989 I came across the name "Jane Marie Rebillot" and this was long before I came into contact with with my father's cousin.. Where I got the name is a complete mystery to me.
