Sarah "Salley" Hickson was born in 1798 in South Carolina. She was the daughter of Thomas Hickson Jr. and Sarah.1 She married Evan Prothro, son of Nathaniel Prothro and Zilphia Morgan, in 1815 in Orangeburg District, South Carolina. She died on November 28, 1865 in Barnwell County, South Carolina. She was buried in 1865 in First Baptist Church, Aiken, South Carolina.2
Sarah "Salley" Hickson was also known as Salley Hickson. She was named an heir in the will of Thomas Hickson Jr. dated February 10, 1810 in Darlington County, South Carolina.
