Elizabeth M. Fisher was born on April 11, 1873 in Pennsylvania.1,2 She married Herman DeBacker, son of Vital Eugene Louis DeBacker and Hortence DeDonder, on November 13, 1895 in St Marys, Pottawatomie County, Kansas.2 She died on March 14, 1950 in St Marys at age 76.

Her married name was DeBacker. She witnessed the baptism of John Baptiste DeBacker on September 16, 1900 in Immaculate Conception Church, St Marys, Pottawatomie County, Kansas.3 Per 1910 Census, her father was born in Germany and mother was born in Pennsylvania.
