Her married name was Gaume. Obituary Of Victorine Gaume - Louisville Herald - March 23, 1899 - "Mrs. Victorine Gaume died at the family residence, on West Main street, on Monday afternoon [20 Mar 1899]. Some time ago she had an attack of grippe, which resulted in pleurisy and lung fever and caused her death. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Gladieux, of this place, being one of five children being born to them. Messrs. August Gladieux, and Joseph Gladieux of Louisville, and Mrs. Eisensimmer and Mrs. Guittard, of Canton, are sisters and brothers of the deceased. She was born July 26, 1843, making her age at the time of her death 55 years, 7 months and 24 days. In November, 1871, she was married to Mr. Victor Gaume, who preceded her in death about six years. Two sons and two daughters were born to them, one son dying in infancy. Rose, Emma and Edward Gaume are the surving members of the family. The funeral services were held on Wednesday morning at the Catholic church of which she was a devout member, and the remains were intered in the Catholic cemetery."
